Top Secret about Ethnocentrism and Religion

Maybe instinctively reading what will happen in this country after some fifty years, HM Emperor Haile Silasie I is said to have delivered the following ominous speech in front of this world’s ‘best citizens’, the dignitaries, the ‘enlightened and chosen ones’ of this planet who were the then actors and actresses in the League of Nations.

“… that until the philosophy which holds one race superior and another inferior is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned; that until there are no longer first-class and second-class citizens of any nation; that until the cooler of a man’s skin is of no more significance than the cooler of his eyes; that until the basic human rights are equally guaranteed to all without regard to race; that until that day, the dream of lasting peace and world citizenship and the rule of international morality will remain but a fleeting illusion, to be pursued but never attained.”


I understand that the Emperor said what he had said to teach the deaf and the blind in that hall of the so called League of Nations established and run by Mr. and Mrs. Gluttony and Injustice to control the wealth and gubernatorial reins of the habitat of the fledgling human race; the deaf and the blind who failed to believe in the oneness – in – God of all human beings and who believed blacks and yellows as subhuman and whites as superhuman, descendants of God Himself, God-incarnates; as if Mr. Blackman’s brain is inferior to theirs; his blood less red, less number of  DNA and RNA traits, less chromosomal constitution,  less RBC/WBC than theirs; their body composition more dense, more pleasant with postural elegance, more intelligent,  more important, more – chosen – by – God than his…

My black Emperor, who might have, and surely had, his own flaws as a human, had, among others, made peace in Nigeria between feuding tribes and caused the creation of one great nation in Africa. This historic event, an event any other entity failed to accomplish by then, by itself is a reminder of one biblical allusion: the ones who were at the rear will come to the front, and the ones who were at the front will go back to the rear. [Not directly quoted]. It is enigmatic that we are now degenerated into an astounding level of decadence and abysmal quagmire wherein people of the onetime antidote of tribalism and ethnocentrism now have themselves become victim of the same agonizing problem that belittles a society to the level of becoming nonentity. To my surprise, especially as of the nineteenth century, this world has become unpredictably puzzling and even now, more astonishingly than ever, it remains to be undefined, mathematically speaking, like any number over zero.
Please allow me to improve my title, I prefer it to be: Ethnic Supremacy over the Skies of my country, my Country being Ethiopia and only Ethiopia. Deal ? Let me hope so!
Between you and me:- If you come to Ethiopia now you may wonder in a degree you have never wondered hitherto. Ask why and how. I will tell you in brief below.
In a metaphoric expression, it goes without saying that Syria is Ethiopia or Ethiopia is Syria, victims of the minority. They share similar problems with an absolute semblance. Fearing the brutal consequence the Tigrian regime would inflict upon the people if any public protest arises, seemingly on a temporary basis, Ethiopia went to Syria and her problems popped up there. Otherwise, it is understandable that Syria is simmering in Ethiopia and when the time comes the Woyannes will go for good as Assad is nearly to go now.  12% there, 6% here with the same shape of governance characterized by all evils the history of this world has been registering, even beyond: genocide, ethnic cleansing, discrimination, deprivation of even the lowest animal rights. Syria is understood in Ethiopia as a token of “the minority shitting upon the majority.” You have all the right to label my diction as stupid and trash, as stupid and trash as anything born of ineptitude.
May I repeat it? Yea, ‘Syria is simmering in Ethiopia.’ In Syria, people of ‘after me the deluge' are mutilating the nation into shreds, just into microscopic pieces if things go the same for the coming few months. As a matter of fact, people of ‘after me the deluge’ are those people who brainlessly do anything to maintain their advantages and try to accomplish any of their whimsical desires. They do not bother about reason and rationality.  Their motto is based on this Amharic saying:  ‘yetim  fichiw, diketun[bitcha] amchiw’ which literally means, ‘It doesn’t matter whoever grinds it or wherever it is crushed or ground, but bring [only] the flour.’ Such people bother about the efficacy of the means, any means their malicious mind invents. Their guidance is “The end justifies the means”, not “The means justifies the end” kind of sober motive. Whenever they feel insecure, they can go to the extent of abolishing the entire world; there are multitudes of them in the world, in group form or individually.
But they are too dangerous when they are in group form; they are airtight, you can neither infiltrate nor percolate or permeate. They have time and ‘blood’–proven foolproof tests to ferret you out and segregate you from the group if you happen to be there amongst them. They do not know compromise and negotiation as long as you stand against any of their interests most of which are illegally usurped from the majority. Trying to detach them from the unlawful acts they are engaged is the same as trying to detach a gnawing hungry hyena from a dead carcass of a donkey. The hyena will die gnawing in the same manner the Woyannes and their likes will die gobbling up their preys. These people are tremendously dangerous and eccentrically treacherous who do not abide by any rule of law. They are not God-fearing. They are either irreligious or atheists; if at all they claim to be religious, they are far off the principles and doctrinal instructions of the religion. They do not have any moral and ethical values. Moreover, they are too changeable if they believe the change maintains their advantages. Psychologically, they are victims of paranoia accompanied with an insatiate id or boundless egoism which, again, causes them to develop an inflated form of megalomaniac behavior.
This psychological crisis results in a grotesque image in their mind that makes them believe they are elephants while in reality they could be rabbits. They believe everyone in the society hates them, so they are always ready to exterminate anyone who they believe is their opponent. Believe me guys; the terms ‘mercy, superego, and love’ are almost non-existent in their vocabulary. Due to all these and other related reasons, these people turn out to be uncompromisingly formidable to have any deal with them. They would rather die than give an inch of the domain they forcibly seize. Once they ‘catch the tail of a tiger’, they will never let the tiger even get a breath for a while. They always fight with their defeated enemies; or even they may fight with the tornados and the mountains like Cervantes’ Don Quixote. They never trust in the victories they secure. Because they always live in a fearful state, they are sleepless enemies of their opponents. We can say that they are enslaved by their fears which again this condition exposes them to all sorts of psychopath. They always chase after their real and/or imaginary enemies. They literally fear everything, even their shadows.
Based on this ‘analysis’ about such brutal creatures, the best and the only way of removing them from power without causing much harm is taking a military action. Unless they are forced to leave the palace with the help of might, they never surrender to condemnation or sporadic demonstrations and incessant protests. Fake and nominal sanctions do nothing either. The people under their suffering can do much if they unite and close all options of attaining private economic and political independence. On the contrary, if the people are disunited and try to save their individual life by running helter-skelter in all directions, no one will take care of the nation and these ruined citizens continue their iron-fist ruling indefinitely. This has been the case in ETHIOPIA up until the present time. Nobody seems to bother about the fate of the country; almost everyone seems to worry about their own destiny. It is not bad to go to the US or Europe and make fortunes and concomitantly expose the plight of the nation in various ways of civil protest; but freedom necessitates something more than that. There is no free lunch! Syrian doctors and professors and engineers and millionaires and reputed citizens are there in the field fighting and leading the fight to topple the monster, a monster known for his cruelty in the past two years. I don’t think we Ethiopians are less zealous and less deserving of freedom. Hibernation and avoidance will totally immerse our nation into a complete cataclysm from where any form of resurrection would be impossible.  Today, you may be in good condition abroad; but, how about tomorrow? Have you ever thought of the fate of your progenies? How far can we see into the future? A meter? 100 meters? A kilometer? Hundreds and thousands of kilometers? Where are we? What are we? What did Shakespeare mean when he said “to be or not to be?” Who said this – ‘when tummies bulge out, heads shrink.’? Wherever we are, let’s sit down and have sober time to think what to do. 
People of such group are victims of either ethnic ties or religious affiliation. They believe they are different and want to impose their difference to be the predominant feature upon the majority. If they feel insecure, it means the Pandora’s Box is open; Armageddon is about to surface. It is a time ,for them to say ‘after me the deluge’, like an Ethiopian donkey in our folklore, says, “enie kemotku serdo aybkel.’[After my death, let no grass grow.] That is what is happening in Syria, in Ethiopia, in Iraq, in almost all nations where there are various ethnic groupings and religious factions whose motto is “Mine is better than yours.” – Shia – Sunni – Orthodox Christian – Catholic – Lutheran – Evangelical – Buddhist – Hindu – what have you – “ The grain is one type but the maid that deal with it are twelve.”
Look! Syria’s Bashir Al Assad is more important than Syria and her 20 million people along with their common history of centuries, in the same fashion the TPLFites are more precious and indispensable than the 85+ million people of Ethiopia. The sustenance of political power and economic supremacy over the majority of the 12% Alawites  in  Syria is worth the perdition of the entire nation. This is the irony of world history and ethnocentric selfishness and/or religious sectarianism. Blind people leading the blind planet; an object of laughter and astonishment in the entire universe wherein so many other civilized creatures are believed to co-exist in this unsigned inter-galactic confederation.
In Ethiopia, the situation is far worse than in Syria. The difference is that Syrians have reached the level of ‘enough is enough’ while in Ethiopia such determination is temporarily out of the scene due to a number of reasons amongst which poverty and, to a certain extent, the  deviously contrived satanic divide and rule system of the ethnocentric junta  are mentionable. You can add some other oriental or occidental factors, if you like. The most interesting thing here is, thanks to Mr. History’s lesson, fair judgment will be meted out and everyone will be receiving what they deserve. That is why I am always justifiably keen to say ‘the blind are in the lead’ to mean they are myopic to the extent of failing to see what has happened in the past to their predecessors. We have to remember that whatever we do has a boomeranging effect; the farthest we throw our spear, the nearest it lands so that we are within the range of the retribution we deserve. ‘You spit upwards, you will get your own saliva soon on your face.’ There is no free kick. You kick out someone today, you will be kicked out by someone tomorrow. What anything else do you expect? And what is new? Nothing, unless we are deceived by our sense organs, which may fool us by distorting our perception, as for example, our eyes could dupe us by making us believe a rod of explosive to ‘be’ a piece of soap. 
The authorities of the world need to do something if we want to lead peaceful life. As a recommendation, I would like to suggest that all the chairs of this world, chairs of VIPs I mean, should be ‘splashed with holy waters’ from the Shenkora Yohanes of Ethiopia or from that of the French town of Lourdes which is named after St. Mary; if this doesn’t work, let them be debugged or formatted and reconfigured like a computer full of viruses.  What else can we possibly do? In Ethiopia, most probably like in Syria, almost everything belongs to the Tigrians.  You are absolutely right if you say now, just at this very moment, that death and every sort of suffering and migration and helplessness and unemployment and layoffs and what have you in the stock of Mr. Devil go to non-Tigrians. [Will it be a crime if I tell the absolute truth? Will anybody liken me with the Rwandan version of ‘kill the cockroaches’   kind of preaching? Don’t be wrong! I am simply telling you what is happening in my country where, on the rung of citizenship, I belong to the last one somewhere below the dogs, if dogs have citizenship, or I am not at all considered as citizen by the Tigrian junta and most of all, except in rarest exceptions, I do not believe in killing.]
You  can  simply  understand  that  a  certain  shop  or  supermarket  in  Ethiopia  belongs  to  a Tigrian, let me edit this clause please, - belongs to a Tigrian who doesn’t at least oppose the ruling Tigrian banditry, if you can interpret messages conveyed through paralanguage and circumstantial phenomena. You do not need the help of words or explainers with this respect to identify which institution or firm or enterprise or houses and homes, if you like, belong to whom; these neuters speak themselves loudly. The shops of non-Tigrians are always under supervision, struck by lack of a new arrival of commodities, and situated at marketwise non-attracting areas; the security are there, the customs and tax people are there to incriminate in case any tax evasion occurs even at times intrigues are devised or prefabricated to jail opponents or non-Tigrian competitors so that they remain down the ladder of wealth, for the Woyannes are suspicious of others’ prosperity in case they ‘misuse’ their money  for  subversive acts. For fear of such potential incidents, non-Tigrians are always under control, their body, their family, their money, their property, their day –to –day activity/movement, their soul and mind in general is in prison though it seems they are at large; I guess even their thoughts and dreams are under electronic surveillance, thanks to these Chinese rats. The shops of Tigrians on the other hand flourish day by day while those of others diminish and finally get closed due  to  the  discriminatory  laws  and  lack  of  conducive  conditions  to get  along  with  the  Tigrian merchants. (For instance, the rental fee assigned by the government to the non-Tigrian is ineffably expensive when compared with that of the first citizen.)  All offices fairly and timely entertain Tigrians because it is ‘their right to secure such luxury after they and their children fought for 17 years with the Dergue regime’.  All the best in the country is consensually declared to the Tigrians; mind you, not all Tigrians are beneficiaries of this roguish ethnic mafia. Being a Tigre alone may not help achieve your whims; one needs to be more active, more Woyanne even than the veterans, more anti-Ethiopian,… to get themselves in the hub of the hedonistic debauchery; so long as one chooses to be brainless, this chance is also open to others. If you are a new comer, your common sense realizes all this fact as soon as one of your feet comes out of the plane at Bole International Airport. To deny this is tantamount to deny the self. At this crooked conjuncture of historical time, it is no wonder if the non-Tigrians  feel  as  if  they  are the  n citizens  to  whom  almost  all  offices  of the  ethnocentric government are padlocked, or made ajar with the help of Mr. Money. As an observer, as a real human and humane observer, you may lament thinking the ugliest situation Ethiopianness has brought about upon Ethiopians.
It is my sincere conviction that all this has happened upon us so that we can learn, through learning we can grow, as a result of our experiential growth, we can reach a refined level of human development wherein our consciousness will have the composition of and an alignment with a real human entity which will have been free of blinding carnal desires that cause pyrrhic conflicts like the ones we are witnessing now.
Let us wade for some time in our marshy social and political problems. Almost all state offices are held by Tigrians or Tigre-controlling puppets from other tribes. If you see an industry under construction, feel free to assume it is an asset of a Tigrian(s). If you see 10 officials on TV screen speaking about certain issue(s), whose contents most often could be false or falsified data cooked by opportunist ‘scholars’ of the junta, you are safe to guess only 0.5% of them is non-Tigrian. If at all you see a non-Tigrian ‘official’ speaking on TV or elsewhere, or sleeping in the parliament for that matter, be sure that that person is condomic stature serving the Tigrian regime as a make- believe, so that the rest of the foolish world, the so called ‘International Community’ ‘understands’ that the Tigrians are generous enough to share the political power, and thereby interested groups try to convince their allies that their prescription to the country is working properly. By the way, I say the foolish world because it wanted to be called so. If we see an entity acting as a foolish while on the other hand it prettily understands the whole truth, call it foolish. The so called international community knows whether ‘a fly is a virgin or not’ or ‘whether a fly is right- handed or left-handed or even whether it is ambidextrous or not’ leave alone knowing what is happening in Ethiopia in reality. They are purposely enhancing such blind policy of ‘kill the righteous, empower the impious’ so much so that they are able to desecrate the shrines of sovereign nations. What will become of them when all this global saber-rattling gets a go-ahead instruction most probably very soon? Isn’t there such prediction, “They will be destroyed by the tools of their own making.”? The time is coming!
Let’s empathize with the innocent, the children, and the old….
Tigrians are said to be 6% of the entire population in Ethiopia. But thanks to the west or the east or the north and the south, the Tigrians in the helm of power are freely galloping the 94% of the rest of the population; thanks to the resource they controlled, their influence can even go beyond the Ethiopian compromised borders as far as the peripheries of the globe. By the way, I am not opposing the galloping per se; I am opposing the way they are galloping, as the term itself derogatively conveys bad connotation. They have lost their rationality, their ingenuity, and all their senses by and large. They have metamorphosed themselves into a robotic mechanical being which is devoid of any human element other than eating, drinking, killing, and copulating. Maybe, at a generous estimate, 10% of the 6% Tigrian population in Ethiopia might be reasonable and feel the wound of their ill- fated non-Tigrian Ethiopians. I personally understand the agony these people are forced, by their conscience, of course, to have due to their benignly humanistic nature. People like Getachew Reda of ethiosemay.com is worth mentioning here as an example of good Tigrian Ethiopians who are out of the foul play with respect to ethnic gambling. Well, I should have mentioned some more names but I shall be reserved for various reasons.
A beginning has an end.
You may know something about apartheid; you may know something about the genocidal holocaust in Germany on Jews by the Gestapo, you might have heard about the Armenians, the Rwandans, Cambodians, Chileans, etc. the genocide and the suffering of all of which is registered in world history and made known to generations. But who cared for the genocide that took place in Ethiopia in the past 38 years by the west sponsored TPLFites? Who is going to take the blame for the murder, eviction, ethnic cleansing, and impoverishment … of especially the Amharas by this junta of TPLF here in Ethiopia? Who paved the way for these narrow nationalists of the Tigrian bandits to come to the palace and miraculously do all these crimes against humanity?  Why is their crime covered? Aren’t we human beings? Why do the major media institutions including Aljazeera, as to me the voice of the voiceless, ignore our major affairs to report? Is it because we don’t have fuel? Is it because we are not white or yellow? Is it because our souls are inferior to theirs? Is it because we have an envying rich historical background mainly due to our victory over European expansionists?
What is the secret behind? Is an Ethiopian soul lighter than the soul of, for example, a royal dog in UK? What an idiocy is it? I tell you the truth: if the crimes of Adolf Hitler and other brutal children of this world are summed up, the summative effect of those historical evils is like a drop in an ocean when compared to the crime of the TPLF, provided we Ethiopians are reckoned as human beings. In the first place, those historical beasts like Hitler had a short span of time to commit the crimes they had committed. Some atrocities took place in shorter durations, though painful, like for example, the Rwandan genocide took place within three months. But when we see the crimes committed and being committed by the Woyanne, it is beyond imagination and the time is edging to be almost forty years including their jungle life. You can calculate how many millions of people, especially the Amharas, might have been sacrificed to quench the blood thirst of the gods and goddesses of these Mafiosi.
I shall leave you with a big question. Who will emancipate Ethiopia from these dragons? And when?

The Scramble for Ethiopia

What else could better express the existence in today’s Ethiopia of more than eighty political parties, out of which ethnic parties represent the overwhelming majority, than the term “scramble?” That for now the TPLF holds together the disjoined parts of the country by force for its own sectarian interests only reconfirms the accuracy of the term.
How did this come about?
When we try to understand what happened to Ethiopia and, by extension, to Eritrea, since the overthrow of the imperial regime, we are invariably overtaken by a mounting perplexity. Unlike the imperial regime, which never declared its intention to empower the people, the political movements that opposed the regime emphatically and without exception asserted their primary and unique goal to be the liberation and empowerment of the people. The EPRP, MEISON, the Derg, the OLF, the TPLF, and the EPLF, to name the most important ones, all claimed to fight for the cause of the people. Yet, none of the movements that succeeded to seize power and implement their programs came anywhere near to fulfilling the promise of liberation and empowerment. On the contrary, all ended in similar types of abject dictatorial and sectarian rules.
The dominant explanation attributes the failures to accidental derailments. It argues that the initial intention and corresponding organizations were fully committed to the goal of liberation until they were derailed by the rise to the leadership position of unfit or fraudulent individuals, who used their position to institute a dictatorial rule and surround themselves by cynical and self-serving groups. Mengistu Haile Mariam, Meles Zenawi, and Isiyas Afeworki negatively altered, so it is said, the original good intention of the movements that brought them to power.
The trouble with the explanation is that the notion of derailment presupposes what needs to be explained. How could individuals, however smart, determined, and cunning they may be, succeed in overturning movements that were often able to overcome very challenging situations. Even if it was short-lived, the triumph of the Derg over so many opponents remains an exploit. Equally remarkable is the defeat that the EPLF and the TPLF inflicted on the military machine of the Derg. It just begs the question to assert that one or several individuals were able to misdirect movements with such proven strength.
Hence the need for a change of paradigm: instead of taking for granted an initial good intention, what if the devil was already in the intention? Rather than derailment, such an explanation sees continuity between departure and arrival, despite contrary appearances. What happened and is happening are already contained in the initial intention, which therefore was itself vicious. In other words, though the movements promised liberation and empowerment, the real and hidden goal was self-promotion and exclusive control of power. Ideologies advocating the liberation of the masses by revolutionary elites, such as Leninism, Maoism, and ethnonationalism, came in handy and quickly spread like a bushfire.
It must not be made to seem that the adoption of these ideologies by the revolutionary elites was a deliberate deception. The tragedy is that they honestly believed in these ideologies and honestly thought that they were working for the empowerment of the people. The fault was and still is in their mind, in the mistaken understanding of what liberation and empowerment mean. The misunderstanding can be traced to their colonial attitude toward their own people, itself being a resultant of the colonial education they received and thank to which they earned their elite status. The education convinced them that they are the native heirs to the civilizing mission of the colonizer, that the measure of their own modernity is the extent to which they see themselves as tutors and agents of change.
At first look, being agent of change is rather positive and expected from educated people. The problem, however, was that it was conceived in the colonial fashion: it was perceived as an imposition from above and deliberately excluded the active participation of the people. Modernity was not what people bring about through their active engagement and creativity; it was a dictate flowing from the enlightened ones and as such demanding passive compliance. The relationship that exists between elites and the masses is not one of answerability, but of elites fashioning their people according to an idea of modernity that defines them as domesticators, thereby entitling them to absolute power. Whether you call the goal socialism, revolutionary democracy, national liberation movement, it always amounts to a dictatorial rule lining up a whole people in the name of a self-serving idea of modernity.
Ethiopians who are familiar with my books on Ethiopia know that I have developed this flawed idea of modernity and its toxic implications from various angels. The happy surprise for me was that the idea has now crossed into Eritrea’s intellectual space, as witnessed by Yosief Ghebrehiwet’s article titled “Eritrea’s Drive for Modernity: In Search of Asmara” posted on Asmarino. Not only is the article witty and very perceptive, but it also proposes a paradigm change in our understanding of what happened both in Ethiopia and Eritrea.
Thus, in analyzing the Eritrean case, Yosief barely refers to the usual motive for the uprising, namely, the national oppression by the Amhara. Instead he focusses on the impact of Italian colonization, which created “a generation that imitated the Italians in every gesture without having any understanding of the beauty of the Italian culture . . . a generation that contemptuously gave its back to the Habesha culture.” The imitation induced an abstract idea of modernity, that is, a conception of modernity “devoid of human factor” and hence intrinsically totalitarian. The modernity of the uprooted is paradoxical: though it speaks of national liberation and empowerment, it is nothing but a replica of colonization by foreign natives. Yosief courageously writes: “the structure of Shaebia’s army that marched to Asmara looked like a colonial army, with the urban elite replacing the Italian positions at the top and the peasants accorded their old place of askaris at the bottom – this was how they came to colonize Asmara.”
The reason for Eritrean uprising is thus obvious: it was a renewed scramble for
Ethiopia, a reconstitution of the Italian invasion by natives. This applies to the secessionist movements in Ogadan and Oromia as well, since they aspire to dismantle the conquest by which Menilik defeated the colonial design on Ethiopia. In construing the return to a pre-Menilik political situation as decolonization of Oromia, Ogaden, etc., these movements draw, as elsewhere in Africa, the entitlement to rule from being enlightened natives pushing out alien colonizers. In other words, the ideology of Amhara colonization is how elites invent an ascriptive legitimacy to rule based on ethnic belonging. Without the ideology, the elites would have to justify their entitlement to rule by the implementation of socioeconomic progress, that is, by actual achievement and merit rather than by natural relatedness.
Needless to say, the creation of an ascriptive right to rule through the denunciation of Amhara colonization is little prone to democratic competition and accountability. Accordingly, the so-called national liberation movements are not so much liberation as elite conflicts for the control of territories resulting from the dismantling of Ethiopia. Speaking of the Eritrean war of liberation, Yoseif rightly says, “it was a war fought between Addis Ababa and Asmara elite. In between, the peasants of both Ethiopia and Eritrea perished fighting the respective urban elite’s causes.”
Elite conflicts accurately sum up the Ethiopian revolution and the ethnonationalist assaults on Ethiopia subsequent to that revolution. The reason for the radicalization of the Ethiopian educated elite through the adoption of Leninism in the 60s and 70s was the need to dislodge the old aristocracy with its bureaucracy and military apparatus from power and the control of resources. Class struggle furnished the ideology necessary to mobilize the working people against the old state apparatus and the church, not so much to liberate them as to empower elites defining themselves as “revolutionaries.” In the meantime, ethnonationalist elites were preparing the ground for another round of elite conflicts, this time by creating a form of exclusion based on ethnic belonging, which resulted in the defeat of the Ethiopian Revolution by ethnonationalist forces.
What should be underlined is that the class struggle and the ethnonationalist forms of exclusion find their common source in the colonial understanding of modernity, that is, of modernity as an imposition from above and whose main purpose is to benefit the few. Not only this form of modernization does not tolerate grass-root movements (autonomous civil societies, professional organizations, and unions), independent political parties, and a liberal economic system, but the narrowness of its goal stemming from the colonial model of modernization reserves economic benefits for the few. Such a restricted development further divides elite and unleashes a violent struggle for the control of scarce resources.
As a result, the country moves in a vicious circle: the empowerment of the few at the expense of the majority curtails economic development, which curtailment exasperates elite conflicts for the control of scarce resources. No more than overseas colonizers, internal or native colonizers can allow the enlargement of social wealth and distribution under pain of losing the absolute control of power that their faulty idea of modernity justifies. The opposite, that is, grass-roots modernization is anathema to them because it pushes for the democratization of all forms of social life and for the accountability to the people. By definition, colonizers, those who “civilize,” be they external or internal, cannot but target absolute power.

Ethiopia using spyware to monitor political activists: report

March 31, 2013 (ADDIS ABABA) - A recently released report has indicated that the Ethiopian government is using a controversial spyware software called FinSpy to monitor the political activities of opposition groups in the country.
The report by the Citizen Lab based at the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto said Ethiopia has used the surveillance technology to interfere with the political activities of opposition groups
The researchers found a version of FinSpy in Ethiopia that tricked users into downloading FinSpy embedded photos and an image file of opposition groups.
According to the report, the Internet Protocol (IP) address used in tracking the opposition’s movements belonged to Ethiopia’s state-owned telecommunications corporation, Ethio Telecom.
“The existence of a FinSpy sample that contains Ethiopia-specific imagery and that communicates with a still-active command and control server in Ethiopia strongly suggests that the Ethiopian government is using FinSpy,” said Morgan Marquis-Boire, a security researcher and technical advisor at the Munk School and a security engineer at Google.
Ethiopian officials were unavailable on Sunday to respond to the allegations. However, in comments made to a local newspaper, an unnamed official from the ministry of communications and information technology (MoCIT) has dismissed the purchase and use of spyware technologies.
The report revealed that more countries are using the spyware technology than previously thought.
FinSpy was detected in 25 countries, including the United States, as well as several other countries with dubious human right records.
The software is designed to secretly infiltrate targeted computers or mobile phones to monitor communications and siphon data, such as passwords and audio from Skype calls, which it then transmits back to a server.
FinSpy surveillance software is commonly used by law enforcement agencies to monitor criminals. However, the report shows it is also being widely used by a number of repressive regimes, namely to spy on dissidents, independent human rights groups and critical journalists.
The software, which was developed in Germany and is available for purchase through a UK-based subsidiary of the Gamma Group, is “regularly sold to countries where dissenting political activity and free speech is criminalised”, researchers said in the report.
The Citizen Lab conducts research in the fields of digital media, global security, and human rights, with the aim of analysing and impacting the exercise of political power in cyberspace.

ለትግራይ ሕዝብ የዝማታ መነሻው “ፍራቻ” ከሆነ ከራሱ ሌላ የተሻለ ነፃ አውጪ ከየት ይመጣል? (ዶ/ር ጌታቸው ረዳ)


“የትግራይ ህዝብ ዝምታ ሲተረጎም” በሚል ርዕስ ከመቀሌ ትግራይ ክ/ሃገር (በወያኔ የአፓርታይድ ስያሜ አጠራር -“ትግራይ ክልል”) በወጣት አብርሃ ደስታ ተጽፎ፤ ኢትዮ-ሚዲያ ድረገጽ ላይ ተለጥፎ አንብቤአለሁ። ጽሑፉ የወያኔን ኢፍትሐዊ ሥርዓትና አሰራር የሚቃወም ከትግራይ አዲስ ትውልድ የተጻፈ በመሆኑ ለጸሐፊው ‘አድናቆት እና ማበረታቻ” ላቀርብለት
እፈልጋለሁ። በርታ ተበራታ! እያልኩ።

የጸሐፊው ብርታት እና ተነሳሺነት አንደተጠበቀ ሆኖ፤ የትግራይ ሕዝብ በወያኔ ሥርዓት መጨቆኑን አንጂ የጭቆናው ዝርዝር አልነገረንም። ጭቆና መኖሩን በደፈናው መግለጹ፤ ጭቆና አንዳለ አንድናውቀው የሚያሳስብ ካልሆነ በቀር የጭቆናው ደረጃ እና ጥልቀት፤የጭቆናው ዓይነት/መራራነት ምን አንደሚመስል ለጸሓፊው ግልጽ አንደሆነ አንጂ እኛ ከሩቅ ላለነውም ሆነ ከትግራይ ክ/ሃገር ውጭ በሌሎቹ ክ/ሃገሮች ለሚኖር ኢትዮጵያዊ ድፍን ነው። ስለሆነም ጸሐፊው በሚቀጥለው ጽሑፉ የጭቆናው መጠን እና ስፋት ግልጽ አንደሚያደርግልን ተስፋ አለኝ።ጸሐፊው የትግራይ ሕዝብ ጭቆና እና ብሶት ነጋሪ በማጣቱ አልተጨቆነም እያሉ አንዳንድ ተቃዋሚዎች ይከራከራሉ ሲል ተቃዋሚው ቢከስም፤ትግራይ ውስጥ ጭቆና አለ ወይስ የለም ብየ ለመከራከር ሳይሆን ጸሐፊው አጋጣሚውን ተጠቅሞ የህ.ወ.ሓ.ት ሥርዓት በትግራይ ሕዝብ ላይ ግፍ እየፈጸመበት ነው ብሎ የነገረንን ድፍን አባባል በደፈናው እንጂ የጭቆናው ዓይነትና እና ብሶት ዝርዝር በጽሑፉ አልገለጸም።

ፀሐፊው በትግራይ ውስጥ ‘ጭቆና አለ’ ካለ በሗላ፤ ሰብአዊ እና የዜግንት መብቱን እየረገጠው የሚገኘው ጨቋኙ የወያኔዎቹን ሥርዓት፤’ፊት ለፊት ተጋፍጦ ተቃዉሞውን ለመግለጽ አልቻለም፡ በዚህ ላይ አንዱ ሲጨቆን ሌላው ዝም ይላል በማለት ካሁን ቀደም በጻፈው ጽሑፉ ስላተተ ይመስለኛል ፕሮፌሰር መስፍን ወ/ማርያም በትግራይ ሰዎች ሲበደሉና ሲጠቁ ሌላው ሰው ዝም የሚለው በምን ምክንያት ነው?” በለው ለጠየቁት መልስ ሲሰጥ አንዲህ ይላል። ‘ባለፈው እንዲህ ፅፌ ነበር’ - ይልና፤-
“… የትግራይ ህዝብ በሙሉ የህወሓት ደጋፊ ነው ማለት ኣይቻልም። ብዙ የሚቃወም ኣለ። ብዙ የሚጨቆን ኣለ። በትግራይ የሌለው ጭቆናን የሚያጋልጥ ሰው ነው። በሌሎች ኣከባቢዎች (ከትግራይ ውጭ) ሰው ሲታሰር ወይ ሲገደል የሚናገርለት ወይ የሚጮህለት ወገን ኣለው። በትግራይ ግን የለም። ኣንዱ ሲታፈን ሌላው ኣብሮ ዝም ይላል። ይሄ ነው ልዩነቱ እንጂ በትግራይ ጭቆና ስለሌለ ኣይደለም።

ከዚህ በመነሳት ፕሮፌሰር መስፍን ወ/ማርያም እንዲህ ጠየቁ:- ካለ በሗላ፤- “አብርሃ ደስታ፤ ያልከውን አምናለሁ፤ ግን አንድ ጥያቄ ልጠይቅህና አንተ በተመቸህ መንገድ መልስልኝ፤ በትግራይ ሰዎች ሲበደሉና ሲጠቁ ሌላው ሰው ዝም የሚለው በምን ምክንያት ነው?”በለው ለጠየቁት መልስ ሲሰጥ አንዲህ ይላል።

‘ባለፈው እንዲህ ፅፌ ነበር’ - ይልና፤- “… የትግራይ ህዝብ በሙሉ የህወሓት ደጋፊ ነው ማለት ኣይቻልም። ብዙ የሚቃወም ኣለ። ብዙ የሚጨቆን ኣለ። በትግራይ የሌለው ጭቆናን የሚያጋልጥ ሰው ነው። በሌሎች ኣከባቢዎች (ከትግራይ ውጭ) ሰው
ሲታሰር ወይ ሲገደል የሚናገርለት ወይ የሚጮህለት ወገን ኣለው። በትግራይ ግን የለም። ኣንዱ ሲታፈን ሌላው ኣብሮ ዝም ይላል። ይሄ ነው ልዩነቱ እንጂ በትግራይ ጭቆና ስለሌለ ኣይደለም።

ከዚህ በመነሳት ፕሮፌሰር መስፍን ወ/ማርያም እንዲህ ጠየቁ:- ካለ በሗላ፤- “አብርሃ ደስታ፤ ያልከውን አምናለሁ፤ ግን አንድ ጥያቄ ልጠይቅህና አንተ በተመቸህ መንገድ መልስልኝ፤ በትግራይ ሰዎች ሲበደሉና ሲጠቁ ሌላው ሰው ዝም የሚለው በምን ምክንያት ነው?” ብለው ለጠየቁት አብርሃ ደስታ መልሱን በ6 የተለያዩ ዘርፎች የተቀመጡ ምክንያቶች መልስ ሰጥቷል።በቀዳሚው መለስ ብንጀምር አብርሃ እንዲህ ይላል፤-

“ መልስ፤-
ኣብዛኛው የትግራይ ሰው የህወሓት መንግስት በዜጎች በደል ሲያደርስ ከመቃወም ይልቅ “ብኡ የሕልፎ” የሚል ብሂል (ወይ ኣባባል) ተግባራዊ ያደርጋል። “ብኡ የሕልፎ” የትግርኛ ኣባባል ሲሆን Literally ‘በዛ ይለፍልን’ (ወይ ‘የባሰ ኣታምጣ’) ዓይነት ትርጉም ኣለው። ለምንድነው የትግራይ ህዝብ ‘ብኡ የሕልፎ’ (የባሰ ኣታምጣ) በሚል የህወሓትን ጭቆና ‘ኣሜን’ ብሎ ለመቀበል የሚገደደው?

(1)ደርግ በትግራይ ህዝብ ብዙ ግፍ ያደረሰ ቢሆንም ህወሓት ከደርግ የባሰ ኣደገኛ ገዳይ መሆኑ የትግራይ ህዝብ በደምብ ያውቃል። የህወሓት የኣገዳደል ወይ ጭቆና ስልት በጣም የረቀቀ ነው። በዚህ የረቀቀ መንገድ ብዙ የትግራይ ተወላጆች ተገድለዋል ወይ እንዲጠፉ ተደርገዋል። ስለዚህ የትግራይ ህዝብ ‘ህወሓት ከደርግ የባሰ ኣደገኛ ነው’ ብሎ ያስባል፤ ይፈራልም። ለምሳሌ እኔ ህወሓትን ፊት ለፊት ስቃወም ብዙ ጓደኞቼ ህወሓት ሊገድለኝ እንደሚችል ስጋታቸው ያካፍሉኛል። (የህወሓት ተግባር በደምብ ስለሚረዱ)። ይህም ሁኖ ግን በኣሁኑ ሰዓት ብዙ የሚቃወም ኣለ። (ፓርቲውም እየተዳከመ ነው)።” ብሏል።

ባጭሩ አብርሃ እየነገረን ያለው ፤የትግራይ ሕዝብ እንደሌሎቹ በወያኔዎቹ ሥርዓት እየተጨቆነ ነው፤ ነገር ግን እየገጠመው ካለው ጭቆና ‘የባሰ ጭቆና” እንዳይደርስበት ‘ስለሰጋ’ ፊት ለፊት መጋፈጡን በፍርሃት ምክንያት ድምፁን ሊያሰማ አልቻለም። (2)ለፍራቻውም ምክንያት በአጽንኦት ሲያሳየን “የትግራይ ህዝብ ‘ህወሓት ከደርግ የባሰ ኣደገኛ ነው ብሎ ስለሚያምን (ተቃውሞውን ለማሰማት) ይፈራል”።
ይላል።

(3)ፀሐፊው በሌላ በኩል ደግሞ ከላይ ያስቀመጠውን ፍሬ ሃሳብ ለትግራይ ሕዝብ ዝመታ መምረጥን አንደ ምክንያት የሆነው በ4ኛ ረድፍ ያስቀመጠው ሌላ ምክንያት በተራ ቁጥር 1 ያስቀመጠው ለትግራይ ሕዘብ ዝመታ ምክንያቱ በሚከተለው ሲያፈርሰው ይታያል።

(4) ደርግ በትግራይ ህዝብ ጠላት ተደርጎ ነው የሚወሰደው (በፈፀመው ግፍ)። የትግራይ ህዝብ ያን የደርግ ኣገዛዝ ኣይፈልግም። ‘ደርግ ይመለሳል’ ከተባለ ታድያ (ማመዛዘን ቢያስፈልግም) ህዝቡ ከደርግ ህወሓትን መምረጡ እንዴት ይቀራል?” ይላል።

እዚህ ላይ ነው አነጋጋሪ ነጥብ ሆኖ ያገኘሁት። በ 1 ኛ ተራ ቁጥር “የትግራይ ህዝብ ‘ህወሓት ከደርግ የባሰ ኣደገኛ ነው’ ብሎ ያስባል፤ ይፈራልም። ”ይለናል። በሌላ በኩል ደግሞ ወያኔ የሕዝቡን ድጋፍ ለማግኘት እና ተቃውሞውን ዝም ለማሰኘት አንዲመቸው የሚጠቀምበት ስልት “በተለያዩ ዮፖለቲካ ድርጅቶች የተሰገሰጉት ተቃዋሚዎች “ደርግ’ ስለሆኑ ፤የደርግ
ሥርዓት ለማምጣት እየጣሩ ስለሆነ አርፈህ ተገዛ እና ወያኔን ምረጥ ስለሚለው “ህዝቡ ከደርግ ህወሓትን መምረጡ እንዴት ይቀራል?” በማለት የትግራይ ሕዘብ ‘ወያኔ’ ሥልጣን ላይ ሊቆይ ባይፈልግም “ደርግ መጥቶእና ጭቆናው እየተቀበልን፤ ወያኔ
ያቆይልን” በማለት ሳየወድ ምርጫው አድርጎታል፡ በማለት እርስ በርሱ በተምታታ ምክንያት ‘ለሕዝቡ ዝምታ’ አነኚህ እና ሌሎቹ የተዘረዘሩ ምከንያቶች ሊነግረን የፈለገው ፍሬ ሃሳብ ሳይገባን ልያሳየን የፈለገውን ስዕል ለማየት አላስቻለንም።

ይህንን አንዲህ ልተወው እና ወደ ሚቀጥለው ሃተታው ደግሞ ልሂድ። ፕሮፌሰሩ “በትግራይ ሰዎች ሲበደሉና ሲጠቁ ሌላው ሰው ዝም የሚለው በምን ምክንያት ነው?” ብለው ለጠየቁት ደግሞ “መልስ” ብሎ የሰጠው ሌላኛው መልሱ አንዲህ ይላል፡-
ይላል፡-“በሌሎች ኣከባቢዎች (ከትግራይ ውጭ) ሰው ሲታሰር ወይ ሲገደል የሚናገርለት ወይ የሚጮህለት ወገን ኣለው። በትግራይ ግን የለም። ኣንዱ ሲታፈን ሌላው ኣብሮ ዝም ይላል።” በማለት ለዝምታው ምክነያት ይገልጻል።

ወንድም አብርሃ አንድ የሳተው ነገር ያለ ይመስለኛል። ከላይ እራሱ የጠቀሰው የሕዘቡ ለዝምታው ምክንያት “ደርግ’ የተባለው የማዶ ጅብ ተመልሶ መጥቶ ከሚበላኝ “ወያኔ” የተባለው የራሴው ጅብ ቢበላኝ ይሻለኛል” “የባሰው አታምጣ (ብኡ የሕልፎ) ብሎ ምርጫው ላስቀመጠ ሕዝብ ሌላው ጮኸለት አልጮኸለት የሚፈይደው ምንድ ነው? ጭቆናው ስላልተነገረለት ነው ከፍርሃቱ ለመውጣት ያዳገተው? ስለ ጭቆናው የሚናገርለት ክፍል ቢያገኝስ ከፍርሃቱ ሰብሮ ለመውጣት የሚረዳው የስነ
ልቦና ብርታት የሚያገናኘው ምን ነገር አለ?

በጣም የሚገርመው ደግሞ ስለ ትግራይ ሕዝብ ጭቆና ለዓለም እና ለኢትዮጵያ ሕዝብ የሚናገርለት የለም! የሚለው አባባል ተቀባይነት አለው አንኳ ብንልም፤ ዞሮ ዞሮ፤ ስለትግራይ ሕዝብ ስቃይ መጮህ እና ስለ ሕዝቡ መብት በወያኔ ስርዓት መረገጥ ሊናገሩለት የሚገባቸው እና ሕዝባዊ አመጽ ማስነሳት እና ሕዝቡን አስተባብሮ ከጭቆና ለማላቀቅ ለድል ማብቃት ግምባር ቀደም ሐላፊነቱን ሚና መሸከም የነበረባቸው የትግራይ ወጣቶች እና “የትግራይ ምሁራን” የት አሉ? ምንስ እየሰሩ ነው? ብሎ አብርሃ ደስታ በተጠያቂነት መቆም ያለባቸው በተለይ የትግራይ ምሁራንን በትንታኔው ውስጥ አንዳች ሐረግ ትንፍሽ አላለም።በተጠያቂነትም አላስቀመጣቸውም።
ወጣቱ የስርዓቱ ተገዥ እና አምላኪ ነው? ከሆነ ስለምን? በምን መልክስ እራሱን ነፃ ማውጣት ይችላል? የሚሉት ትንታኔዎችን አልነካም። ለምን?

ሕዝቡ የባሰ አታምጣ ብሎ መስጋቱ የሚያስገርም አይደለም። ሰው አንደሰው መጠን መከራው ሲበረታበት ወደ ተገዢነት ያደላል (የተለያዩ ተቃራኒ ትንታኔዎች በሌላ በኩል ማስቀመጥ የሚቻል ቢሆንም)። ታዲያ የጭቆና ቅምበር ተጭኖበት ‘ዝምታን” የመረጠ ሕዝብ፤ ከዘምታው ዓለም ጐትቶ ሊያወጣው ግምባር ቀደም ሚና ሊኖረው የሚገባው ያለው የትግራይ
ምሁር፤ለትግራይ ሕዝብ በመብት ቀዳሚ ጠብቅና አለን ብለው በድርጅት መልክም ሆነ በግል የቆሙ የትግራይ ምሁራን ለኢትዮጵያ ሕዝብ ስቃይ መገመት በሚያስቸግር ከባድ ጥፋት አድርሰዋል እያልን እኔም ሆንኩኝ መሰል ኢትዮጵያ ወንድሞች/እህቶች ሳይሰለቸን ተናግረናል። አለመታደል ሆኖ፤ የትግራይ ተወላጆች የሆኑ ነባር ተቃዋሚዎችም ሆኑ አዲስ ትኩስ
ሃይሎች እየሆኑ የመጡ ጥቂቶች አንደ አብርሃ ደስታ የመሳሰሉ ተቃዋሚ የትግራይ ተወላጆች፤ በትግራይ ምሁራን ላይ ለመተቸት ለምን ግራግራእንደሚጋቡ ለኔ ግልጽ አይደለም።

ሁለት ዓይነት የትግራይ ምሁራኖች አሉ። አንደኛው ቡድን ወያኔን በግልጽ የሚቃወሙ፤ ነገር ግን “ዞር አሉ አልሸሹም” ዓይነት አስተሳሰብ ያላቸው በተዘዋዋሪም ሆነ በቀጥታ ከሚያሞቃቸው “የጎሳ ቀፎ” መውጣት የማይፈልጉ ናቸው (ትንሽ ስታካቸው እና ክርክሩ ጠበቅ ሲልባቸውና ሲበሳጩ ወያኔነታቸው በቀላሉ የሚነበብባቸው ማለት ነው)። ወያኔ መቃወም ብቻ አያስፈልግም፤ መልካሙን ነገርም አውሱለት፤ እየተሰራ ያለው ሕንጻ፤ሆቴልና ፋብሪካ አወድሱለት ወዘተ…. የሚሉ ናቸው (ሂትለር ጀርመንን በኢንዱስትሪ በር ከፍቶላታል እና ስለ ሂትለር በጐነት አውሩ አንደማለት)። አንዲህ አይነት የተምታታ አቋም ያለቸው የትግራይ
ምሁራኖች ብዙዎቹ ቢሆኑም ለምሳሌ ለምጥቀስ አንደ ዶ/ር ገላውዴዎስ አርአያ እና ዶ/ር ሃይሉ መንገሻ የመሳሰሉት መጥቀስ ይቻላል።

ሌላው ቡድን ደግሞ በግልጽ የወያኔን ፖሊሲ አቅፎ ደግፎ “እልል” እያሉ የወያኔ ፕሮፓጋንዳ እየተቀበሉ የሚተገብሩ እና የጥፋት መልእክተኛ የነበረው የመለስ ዜናዊ አወዳሾች አንደ እነ ዶ/ር ተወልደብርሃን ገ/አግዚአብሔር (የደራሲው የስብሐት ገ/እግዚአብሔር ወንድም)http://youtu.be/f75zPblWSiI የሕዝቡን መከራ የሚያራዝሙ፤ ጠባብ ብሔረተኛነት ሕሊናቸውን ያሰወራቸው “ዑውራን” ምሁራን ይገኙበታል። አነኚህ እና የመሳሰሉ የትግራይ ምሁራን 1ኛ የሕዝብቻው ስቃይ እያዩም ቢሆን ባድርባይ ጸባይ እና ወያኔ በለገሰላቸው ምቾት ታውረው ተባበሪ የሆኑ ናቸው።

ዛሬ ዛሬ ቀዝቀዝ አሉ እንጂ፤ሌሎቹ ደግሞ መጽሔት አቋቁመው የወያኔ ፕሮፓጋንዳ ተቀብለው በጸረ አማራነት እና በጸረ ኢትዮጵያነታቸው የታወቁ ከኤርትራ ምሁራን ጋር እጅ እና ጓንቲ ሆነው “ጸረ አማራ” (እነሱ ነፍጠኛ የሚሉትን) መስመር በማራመድ፤ የማይገቡ አሳዛኝ ቅስቀሳዎች በመዝራጋት  መጥፎ የታሪክ ጠባሳ የተው ናቸው።
አንዳንድ አንባቢዎች ከባዶ ሜዳ ተነስቼ ለሃሜት የጻፍኩት እንዳይመስላቸው ከኤርትራ ምሁራን ጋር ግምባር ፈጥረው “ወያኔን
እያወደሱ” በነዚህ ምሁራኖች በአማራነት የሚጠሩ አንዳንድ ታዋቂ ኢትዮጵያዊያን በማይገባ በመዝለፍ (በመጽሔቱ ላይ ለምሳሌ አቡነ መርቀሬዎስን “ዘ አዘር ዶግ/ሌላኛው ውሻ” በማለት በፎቶአቸው ላይ ተጽፏል) ወይንም ዶኩመንቶችን በማዛባት የሕዝቡን አፍ ለማስዘጋት ሲሞክሩ ነበሩ ዝነኚህ የትግራይ ምሁራን እና የኤርትራ ምሁራን ስም ዝርዝር ለማየት ከፈለጉ ለምሳሌ “ኢትዮጵያን ኮመንታተር” የተባለው መጽሄት አዘጋጆች የነበሩትን መጥቀስ ይቻላል። ባንዳንድ ጸሐፊዎች አባባል
መጽሔቱን “ሻዕቢያ ወያኔ ፒስ ማውዝ” ሲሉት ነበር።

እነዚህ በሙሉ ዶክተሮች ናቸው። ይታያችሁ የላቸው መዓረግ እና የዘፈቁበት የብሄረተኛ ፕሮፓጋንዳ ስታነጻጽሩት፤ በወያኔ ለተረገጠው የኢትዮጵያ ሉአላዊነት እና የሕዝቡን መብት መረገጥ ተገቢውን መስመር ለማስያዝና ለፍትሕ መቆም ሲገባቸው፤ጸረ ኢትዮጵያ ከሆኑት ሻዕቢያ ኤርትራዊያንጋር ግምባር ፈጥረው የጎሰኞች ፕሮፓጋንዳ ለማራገብ በጸረ አማራነታቸው ከታወቁት ከነኚህ ኤርትራኖች ከነ / ተክኤ ፍስሃጽዮን፤ ጆርዳን ገብረመድህን ጋር አጅ እና ጓንቲ ሆነው በታሪክ ላይ ጠባሳ ንድፍ ትተዋል።

አነኚህ እና የመሳሰሉ የትግራይ ምሁራንን ዛሬ ምን እየሰሩ እንደሆነ በግምባር ቀደም ከመውቀስና ከመተቸት ይልቅየፖለቲካ ተቃወሚዎች የትግራይን ሕዝብ ወደ ወያኔ እየገፉት ነው ይለናል። አብርሃ ደስታ አንዲህ ይላል፤ በዚህ መሰረት (የትግራይ ሕዝብ) ህወሓትን እየተቃወመም ቢሆንም የተቃዋሚ ድርጅቶች ግን ከህወሓት ሊብሱ ይችላሉ ብሎ እንዲያስብ ስለሚገደድ ግራ ተጋብቶየባሰ ኣታምጣብሎ ኣብሮ ዝም ይላል። ለዝምታው ምክንያት አለውሲል በተቃዋሚው ላይ ትችቱን አሹሏል።

ወጣት አብርሃ ደስታ የትግራይ ምሁራን ምን ያህል በቆሸሸው የወያኔ ፖለቲካ አንደተዘፈቁ እና የሕዝቡን እና የአገሪቱን ሉዓላዊነት ሲደፈር አፋቸው ዘግተው አይተው እንዳላዩ ሲሆኑ፤ አብዛኛዎቹ ደግሞወያኔ የሚያደርገው ጸረ ሉዓላዊአርምጃእሰየውእያሉ የወንጀሉ ተባባሪዎች እየሆኑ አንደሆነ ብዙ ያወቀው አልመሰለኝም።

የትግራይ ህዝብ ከትግራይ ውጭ አሻግሮ በወሬ የሚያዳምጣቸውየፖለቲካ ተቃዋሚዎችንየማይምን ከሆነ፤ ከጉያው ውስጥ ያሉትዓረና ትግራይየተባለው ድርጅትስ መነዋ ማመን አቃተው? እንምራህ ብለው ተነስተዋል፤ ብዙ ዓመት ሆኗቸዋል አመርቂ አንቅስቀሴ ሲያደርጉ አልታዩም። ባለፈው ሕዝባዊ ምርጫ፤ የምርጫው ውጤት ትግራይ ውስጥም አንደተጭበረበረና
ተጽእኖ አንደተደረገላቸው የታወቀ ነው። ታዲያየትግራይን ሕዝብ እንደ ሌሎቹበጠላትነትየማይፈርጁት፤ከወያኔ ጋር የማያደባልቁት”“መረገጡን” የሚያስተጋቡለት፤ የዓረና ተቃወሚዎች ከጉያው ትግራይ ውስጥ እያሉ ለምን ሆ ብሎ አነሱን ደግፎ “ተቃዉሞውን አላጧጧፈም?

ሰለዚህ የትግራይ ሕዝብ ሲጨቆን “ሌላው” በፍርሃት “ዝም” ስለሚል ነው፤ ወይንም ተቃወሚዎቹ “አንደጠላት” ለሚፈርጁትት ነው፤ የሚለው አንካሳ ምክንያት አንደ ምክንያት ተቀባይነት የለውም፤፡ መጀመሪያ ነገር ወያኔ የሚያወራው ተቃዋሚዎች “የትግራይን ሕዝብ አንደጠላት ያዩታል” የሚለው የወያኔ ፕሮፓጋንዳ አብርሃ ደስታም ሆነ ሌሎቹ የትግራይ ተወላጆች ተቀብለው እያስተጋቡት ነው። የፖለቲካ ተቃዋሚዎች የትግራይ ሕዘብ በጣላትነት የፈረጀ አንድም (በኢትዮጵያ የሚያምኑ ተቃዋሚዎች) በመረጃ የሚያቀርብ ከአብርሃ ጀምሮ እስከ ሺዎቹ የሚቈጠሩ የትግራይ ምሁራን ማስረጃ አስደግፎ የሚያቀርብ እስካሁን ድረስ አላየሁም። መረጃው አለን የሚሉ ከሆነም ይሄው “ቻለንጁ” ግብዣው እና ሜዳው።

ተቃዋሚው በትግራይ ሕዝብ ተቃባይነት አንዳይኖራቸው ለማድረግ ወያኔ ዘርግቶት የነበረው እና አሁንም እየገፋበት ያለው የውሸት ፕሮፓጋንዳ እየተቀበሉ ማስተጋባት አላዋቂነት ብቻ ሳይሆን የሚያስገምት ነው። የመለስ ዜናዊ “ኢንተርሃሙዌ” ፕሮፓጋንዳ ብዙ የትግራይ ተወላጆች ተቀብለውት አንደነበረ የምናስታውሰው ነው፤፡ አሁንም አብርሃ እያለን ያለው፤- “ስለዚህ ተቃዋሚዎች ከትግራይ ህዝብ ጋር መወያየትና መግባባት ያስፈልጋቸዋል። ምክንያቱም ሳያውቁት (በሚጠቀሙት የፖለቲካ ስትራተጂ) የትግራይን ህዝብ (target የሚያደርጉ ስለሚመስሉ) በህወሓት ቢጨቆን እንኳ ህወሓትን ላለመቃወም እንዲወስን (የባሰ እንዳይመጣ) ያደርጉታል። ስለዚህ የትግራይ ህዝብ ዝምታ ምክንያት ኣለው (ህወሓት ስለሚደግፍ ግን ኣይደለም)

ምንድ ነው ተቃዋሚዎቹ ሳያውቁት “በትግራይ ሕዘብ ላይ እያራመዱት የሚገኙት “የፖለቲካ ስትራተጂ”? የትግራይን ሕዝብ ‘ታርጌት’ ያደረገ በጣለትንት የፈረጀ የፓቲካ ስተራተጂ የቱ አንደሆነ ወይንም ማን ድርጅት እና ተቃዋሚ እንዲህ ያለ ስትራተጂ እየተከተለ አንደሆነ በመረጃ እስካልቀረበ ድረስ “ለትግራይ ሕዝብ ዝምታ ተቃዋሚው ለዝምታው “ምክንያት” ነው ብየ አልቀበለውም።አብርሃ የቤት ስራውን ከዚህ በተሻለ መስራት ይኖርበታል።

የሕዝቡ ዝምታ ወያኔን ላለመቃወም ምክንያት ብሎ አብርሃ ሲገልጽልን ‘አንድ ጊዜ ተቃዋሚው በሚያራምደው የፖለቲካ ስትራተጂ ነው “ዝምታ ሊመርጥ የቻለው” ይለናል፡ አንድ ጊዜ ደግሞ ከጭቆናው ላላመላቀቅ የመረጠው “ስለፈራ” ነው  ለናል። ‘ፍርሃት’ በተጠቀሰው አባባል፤ በማሕበራዊ ትንተና እንደ ምክንያት የሚያስኬድ ቢሆንም። 22 ዓመት ባነስተኛው “ከፍርሃቱ”በጥሶ መውጣት ካልቻለ፤ ሌላ ያልተመረመረምክንያት አለው። ያ ምክንያት ምንድ ነው? (እዚህ ላይ ዝምታው የትግራይ ሕዝብ ብቻ ተወቃሽ ማድረግ ተገቢ እንዳልሆነ በደማቅ ላሰምርበት እሻለሁ። ምክንያቱም ዝምታው በሌሎቹም እየታየ ያለው አሳዛኝ ሲንድሮም ነውና)። ቢሆንም በትግራይ ላይ መተኰር ያለበት ልዩ ምክንያት ስላለ ፤ በዚህ እንቀጥል፤፡ ለትግራይ ሕዝብ ዝምታ መነሻው ምንድ ነው?

የተቀረው ኢትዮጵያዊ ለምሳሌ አማራው ሕዝብ እና ኦሮሞ፤ጋምቤላ… አንዲሁም ሌሎቹ በደርግ እና በወያኔ ንጽጽር ምርጫ ቢገቡ ከወያኔ ደርግ እንደሚሻላቸው ይምርጣሉ። ኤርትራኖቹም አንደዚሁ (እራሳቸው በየቀኑ የሚያቀርቡት የሕዝቡ ዘገባ መመልከት በቂ ነው)።፡ትግራይ ውስጥ ግን ምርጫው የነዚያ ተጻራሪ እንደሆነ አያጠራጥርም። አሁንም ቀደም ብየ ወደ ገለጽኩት “የባዕድ ጅብ ከሚበላን የኛው ጅብ ይብላን” ወደ ሚለው አብርሃ ቀደም ብሎ ወደ ተነተነው “ደርግ እና ወያኔ” ወደ ማወዳደሩ ስንገባ “የብሔረተኛነት” ስነ ልቦና እዚህ ላይ ትልቅ ሚና አንዳለው መዘንጋትየለብንም።

ሕዝቡ ለ39 ኣመት በትግራይ ብሔረተኛነት ተሰብኮ የወያኔ ፕሮፓጋንዳ ተቀብሎ እያራመደው አንዳለም አብርሃ ሊገልጽልን ያልቻለበት ምክንያት አልገባኝም። የትግራይ ሕዝብ ከሌለው በተሻለ መንገድ በወያኔ ስርዓት “ተጠቃሚ” መሆኑን ለብዙ ጊዜ ተከራክረንበታል። አብዛኛዎቹ የትግራይ ምሁራን ይህንን እውነታ ሊቀበሉት አልፈለጉም። ሁለት ምከንየቶች አሉዋቸው። አንደኞቹ “  ተጠቃሚ እየሆነ አንዳለ ቢገባንም”  ለወደፊቱ በሌሎቹ አካባቢ ሕዝብ ቅሬታ ፈጥሮ ለአደጋ ሊጋለጥ ስለሚችል፤ ይህን ከማስተጋባት መቆጠብ አለብን” ብለው የተናገሩኝ የትግራይ ተወላጆች አሉ። ለዚህ መለስ ካሁን በፊት ጽፌአለሁ። አልደግመውም።

2ኛው/ሌላኛው ክፍል ደግሞ፡ ጭራሽኑ ከነበረበት ከደርግ ጊዜ ብሶበታል አንጂ አልተጠቀመም የሚሉ አሉ (የትግራይ ተወላጆች ብቻ ሳይሆኑ ይህንን ውሸት የሚያስተጋቡ፤ በተቃዋሚ ጐራ የቆሙ አሁን አስመራ ከተማ የሚኖር የግንቢት 7 ዋና ጸሐፊው አንዳርጋቸው ጽጌም ጭምር-በዴምህት (ዴሞክራሲያዊ ምንቅስቓስ ህዝቢ ትግራይ) አስመራ ውስጥ ቃለ መጠይቅ
ተደርጐለት ያስተጋባው አድር ባይ ውሸትን ልብ ይለዋል)። አንዲህ ዓይነቱ የተዛባ ሙግት ማቅረብ ለምን እንደሚጠቅም ግራ ይገባኛል። የምናወራው “ሪል ፖለቲክ” ነው። አገርና ህዘብን የሚመለከት ትንተና እና ዘገባ ነው። ገና ከመነሻው የብሔረተኛ ቀዳሚ ምኞቱ እና እቅዱ ማወቅ ያስፈልጋል። ወያኔ ብሔረተኛ/ጎሰኛ ነው።ብሔረተኛ ደግሞ፤ መጀመሪያ “የራሱን ብሔር” ይብዛ ይነስ ከሌሎቹ ቅድሚያ መስጠት ነው ተቀዳሚ የቤት ስራው። ለዚህም ነው ወያኔዎችና የወያኔ ጀሌዎች (የወያኔ አባሎችም ያልሆኑ ጭምር) በመተባባር “ትግራይ ልማት መረዳጃ ማሕበር” /ልምዓት ዓዲ ብወዲ ዓዲ’ በሚል መርሆ ታቅፈው ፡በትግራይ ላይ ጉልበታቸው፤ገንዘባቸው፤አውቀታቸው በማስተባባር ለጎሳቸው ቅድሚያ በመስጠት፤ ወያኔ ባሰመረላቸው የጎሰኛነት መመሪያ መሰረት እየተመሩትግራይን ወደ ላቀ ደረጃ አድረሰዋትየሚገኙት።

ወያኔ ትግራይን በማልማት፤ ፋሲሊቴሺኑን በማዘጋጀት እና በተቻለ መጠን አንድ አገር አንደ አገር ሊያቆመው የሚችል መረታዊ ልማቶችን መዋቅሮችን በትግራይ ዘርግቷል።በዝርፍያ፤በገሃድ፤በሕጋዊ እና ሕገውጥ በሆኑ መንገዶች ሁሉ ለራሱ ዘርፎ ከሚተርፈው የዝርፊያ ሃብት ወደ ትግራይ በማፍሰስ ቀዳሚ የልማት ምሳሌ የሆነችበት ምክንያት ወጣት አብርሃ ሊነግረን
አልፈለገም። ሕብረተሰቡ ብናምን ባናምንም የወያኔ ትግራይ ዳረጐት እያመሰገነ ከልቡ ተቀብሎታል። ከወያኔ ሌላ ለትግራይ ልማት እና እድገት የሚያስብ ስርዓት አይመጣም የሚል ድመዳሜም እንደሚያስቀምጥ ምንም አያከራክርም። ደግሞ ከወያኔ በላይ ማን ለትግራይ ቅድሚያ ይሰጣል? ስልጣን ላይ ያሉት የትግራይ ተወላጆች ናቸው፤በየውጭ አገሩ እየተላኩ ወታደራዊ እና ሲቪላዊ ስልጠና የሚለኩት ትግሬዎች ናቸው (ከቁጥር አንጻር ስትመለከቱ አብዛኛዎቹ ከትግራይ ናቸው) አምባሲው፤ ስለላው፤ ወታደሩ፤ ስልጣኑ፤ንግዱ…..በማን እጅ ነው ያለው? በትግሬዎች! ወያኔዎች ትግሬዎች አይደሉም? ናቸው። ስንት ናቸው? በጣም እጅግ በጣም በሚሊዮኖች የሞቆጠሩ። አነኚህ የትግራይ ሕዝብ አካል አይደሉም? ናቸው። ጥቂት እየተባለ የሚነገረውአሃዝየፖለቲካ አላዋቂነት ወይንም ሆን ተብሎ የተሸፈነ አባባል አንጂተጠቃሚዎቹ” “ጥቂቶችበሚያስብል
ግምት ውስጥ አይደሉም። አንድ ሕዝብ በታሪክ ምዕራፎች ብንመለክት፤ በየትም ዓለምሁሉምሕዝብተጠቃሚማድረግ አይቻልም።ግን በዓይን የሚታይ የሚዳሰስ ጠቀሜታ እና ተጠቃሚ እስካለ ድረስግምገማችን መሰረት አድርገንተጠቃሚ ነውብለን መመጐት አንችላለን።

ለም መሬቶች እየመረጠ ከጎንደር እና ከወሎ ነጥቆ ለትግሬው እንካ ሲለው እሺብሎ እየተጠቀመበት ያለው ሕዝብ ማን ነው? አንዲህ ያለ ሥርዓት በጠምንጃ ጉልበት ከሌሎቹ ወንድሞቹ ሰፊ መሬት ነጥቆ ለትግራይ የሚሰጥ ሥርዓት ከቶ ለወደፊቱ ሊመጣ ይችላል? ጐሰኛ ስራው ምንድ ነው? ከመነሻው ማንንሰ ለመጥቀም እና ነፃ ለማውጣት ነው የተነሳው? አንደዚህ ዓይነቱ ጥቅማጥቅም በጉልበትም ሆነ በሕጋዊ መንገድ እየተጠቀመ ቅድሚያ ለራሱ ጎሳ ለማጐናጸፍ ነው። ይህንን ሰፊ መሬት እና የታመጸ አማራ ኗሪ ሕዝብ መብት ሳይጠብቅ ወደእራሱ ጐሳወደ ትግራይ እንዲቀላቀል የተደረገው ማንን ለመጥቀም ነው? ትግራይን ለመንጠቅ ካልሆነ ማንንነ ነው? ሑሞራ ላይ ያለው እርሻ ማን ነው እየተጠቀመበት ያለው? ትግሬው ወይስ
አማራው (የጎንደር ሕዝብ)?

እየሆነ ያለውም ይሄው ነው። ትግሬውየሚዳሰስ፤የሚጨበጥ፤የሚታይ ጠቀሜታ እና ዕድገት በአከባቢውም ሆነ በግል ህይወቱ ከሌላው በተሻለ አግኝቷል። ለዚህም ነውእንደ ወያኔለኤርትራኖች ነፃነት እናለትግራይ ዕድገትየሚቆረቆር ሥርዓት ከቶ ለወደፊቱ አይገኝምየሚል ሙጉት የምሞግተው። ሰለሆነም፤ የትግራይ ሕዝብ ይከፋም ፤ይደግም፤ እጁን
አጣምሮ ዝመታ የመረጠበት ምክንያት ከፍርሃቱ ሌላ ያልተመረመረ ስዕል ከፊት ለፊቱ ያገደው ያለ አንደሆነ አብርሃ አሁንም ከሰጠን ትንተኛ ሌላ ወደ ውስጥ መቆፈር ይገባዋል እላለሁ። ሕዝቡን ወደ ጎን ትትን ወደ ምሁራኑ ክፍል ብናተኩር፤ ያ ያልተመረመረው ስዕል አሁንም በትግራይ ምሁራን ዝምታ ታጭቆ ያለው ብሔረተኛነት ነው የሚል አስተያየት አለኝ።
የትግራይን ሕዝብ ጸረ ወያኔ ፊት ለፊት እንዳይነሳ ያገደው ጠባብ ብሄረተኛነት ነው።

ኤርትራኖች አሁን ያሉበት እና የትግራይ ምሁራን ያሉበት ስታወዳድሩ ፤ ኤርትራኖቹ አንዲያ በዘምባባና በአበባ የተቀበሉት፤ደማቸውና ገንዘባቸው ያፈሰሱበት “የሻዕቢያ” ድርጅት ገበና በብዙ መጽሐፍት እያሳተሙ በቃለ መጠይቅ በየራዲዮኑ እና በየፓልቶኩ እያገላጡ ሕዝቡ አንዲነሳበት እያደረጉት ይገኛሉ። የትግሬ ምሁራን እና ታጋዮች ግን ፤ ከቆራጦቹ ከነ አስገደ ገብረስላሴ ፤ገብረመድህን አርአያ፤ተስፋይ አጽብሃ/ቸንቶ፤ እና ጓደኞቹ እንዲሁም ጥቂቶች……በስተቀር የትግራይ ታጋዮች እና ምሁራን በብሔረተኛነት ገመድ ስለተበተቡ በጣም በሚያሰዝን ሁኔታ “ዝምታን” መርጠዋል። እነ አብርሃ ደስታ መመርመር ያለባቸው በተቃዋሚው ስትራቴጂ ላይ ምክንያት አድርጎ የተተነተነ የወያኔ ፕሮፓጋንዳ ከማተኮር ይልቅ በጠቀስኩት ላይ ትኩረታቸው ቢያደርጉ ለጠቃሚ ውይይት በር ይከፍታል።

በመጨረሻ ልለው የምፈልገው ነገር፤ የተማረው የትግራይ ምሁር፤ በራሱ ጠባብ ብሔረተኛነት ስሜት ምክንያት ተተብትቦ የወያኔ ተበባሪ ሆኖ የሕዝቡ መከራ “ጀሮ ዳባ’ ብሎ ከጨቋኙ የወያኔ ቡድን ጋር ከወገነ፤ ሕዝቡ እየደረሰበት ካለው መከራ ራሱን ነጻ ለማውጣት እያገደው ያለው“ፍርሃት” የሚባል አንቅፋት አንደምክንያት ከተወሰደ ፤ የትግራይ ሕዝብ ከራሱ በላይ
የተሻለ ነፃ አውጪ ከየት አንዲመጣ ይጠብቃል? ደርግን ያክል የተደራጀ ታላቅ ሠራዊት መክቼ አሸንፋለሁ ብሎ በተግባርም ተቃውሞው አሳይቶ መምታት ከቻለ፤በወያኔ ላይ ሲደርስ ደርግን አንደመታው ወያኔን ላለመምታት ጉልበቱን ተብትቦ ያሰረው “ክር” ምንድነው? ፍርሃት ብቻውን እንደምክንያት በቂ ሊሆን አይችልም። የ21 ዓመት ተባባሪነትና ዝምታ በመካከላቸው የተዘረጋው ‘ገመድ’/ ‘እትብት’ መመርመር ይኖርበታል።

ብሐረተኞች የዘረጉት ፖለቲካ በቀላሉ የሚተነተን ሳይሆን በመስኩ ላይ ጥናት ያደረጉ ምሁራን ለዚህ ተገቢውን መልስ አንደሚኖራቸው አምናለሁ። በትንተናው ላይም አንዲሳተፉበት እጋብዛለሁ። ይህ ጽሑፍ የአብርሃ ደስታ ጽሑፍ በተለጠፈው በኢትዮ ሚዲያ እንዲለጠፍ ተልኳል (ደምቡም መሆን ያለበት ያ ነበር) ሆኖም አዘጋጅ ፖለቲካን ወደ ግል ስሜት እየለወጠ እልህ ውስጥ ገብቶ የምናስተላልፋቸው የሕዝብ ጉዳዮች በድረገጹ ተለጥፈው አንዳይነበቡ ማገዱን ብዙዎቹ የተስማሙበት ችግር መሆኑን የታወቀ ቢሆንም፤ ይህ ጽሁፍ ልኬዋለሁ። ቢያወጣው መልካም፤ባያወጣውም ፤ሬከርድ/ለትዝብት አንተወዋለን። ሆኖም ጽሑፉ ድንገት ታፍኖ እንዳይቀር ወደ ሌሎቹ ድረገጾች ለሕትምት ተልኳል) አመሰግናለሁ።
